Francia Raisa and Lindsey Broad

Raisa was raised by both their parents living at Los Angeles, California. Irlanda Almendarez (her sister) and Italia Almendarez (her brother) have both been her siblings. Francia is her name in Italian. Italia in Italian means Italy, and Irlanda means Ireland. Virginia Almendarez's mother is Mexican and Renan Almendarez hails from Honduras. Renan took on the name of El Cucuy not very long after the birth of Francia. Renan is also a Latino top DJ who hails from Los Angeles. Francia and her sisters have been raised in the house of a popular father. She speaks fluently in Spanish as well as English. Her parents took her to dance classes at only five. They were not restricted to just one specific type of dance. Every dance form was included, from tap dancing to Polynesian and hip-hop. The young lady also studied sports such as iceskating and Karate. In her junior high year she was also studying acting and modelling. Francia studied at Bishop Alemany the high school located in Mission Hills, California. She played on the cheerleading team in the school. Despite being at the high school system, her modeling skills caught the eye of many people. She became a model for print and national commercials. The ads she appeared in were for JCPenney, Walmart and other companies. Her first recognition was as an actress before she became a model or actor. Francia Raisa was first offered a part in a feature film in her last year of high school. Raisa did not stop dancing even after she got her first leading role. She was a regular participant in dancing classes that were on a higher level. The classes she took were in an Hollywood ballet studio.
